Here's Dr Judaken's new daughter

The latest addition to the growing list of children born to faculty members of the Department of History is Joelle Ranne Judaken (shown below).



Dr Judaken announced her birth in a message to members of the department, saying that she weighted 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and measured 19 inches. She "entered the world with her eyes wide open." He added that the birth was relatively calm, considering that the delivery was by Caesarian section, and that she "felt holistic and organic from the outset. Joelle was collected, only yelling a little to let us know she was healthy and what she needed, and then she seemed to focus in on the tasks at hand." Dr Judaken concluded his announcement: "May she do her part in redeeming the world."
